UK people: The Heinz pasta tins' labels have been changed to Pinkie Pie

The Heinz pasta tins that used to have Applejack on the label now feature Pinkie Pie. The shapes themselves are the same but the ingredients have changed slightly I think.

I'm guessing the Applejack ones are being phased out. If you wanted one I'd suggest picking one up soon.

AJ barely gets any merch, and now they are replacing her even there? I'm sick of seeing Pinkie literally on every merch and in a half of all the toys sets.

I was surprised Applejack was ever on it in the first place considering how much Hasbro seems to hate her xD

AJ looked a lot more 'natural' than Pinkie Pie IMHO. Although I suppose Pinkie and her bright colors will attract the kiddies more.

I don't know, maybe they're just rotating through characters, and AJ was honored with being the first!

She's been on it a while, so perhaps they wanted a change, or were looking for something a little more girly for the range. Does mean I will have to get some more now though!

I think it was Facebook I had seen this one; its still AJ in the one store locally who carries it here However, am I right in remembering that the Fluttershy [or Flutterbye...it was misspelled right?] shape has simply been renamed to Pinkie rather than a new shape?

Kinda funny that they use a new vector for a tin of spaghetti but re-use the same one or two for everything else  Maybe I'll grab a few next time I go shopping, it's been a while since I had shaped spaghetti...

The shapes have not changed but Applejack has been renamed Pinkie Pie.

Possibly they picked out Applejack to begin with given she's the only main cast with a food related design?  Who knows.  If you didn't know better, her apples could pass for tomatoes...
