Strange that they didn't use an actual product... In previous movies sometimes you see a MLP toy or a plush in the background, but this looks like something they specifically made just for the movie. As brighteyes mentioned, it looks like they took the Funko Rainbow Dash and made it bigger.

(Of course, it looks like the entire scene is CGI so that product probably doesn't even exist in real life, and the actor was probably holding either nothing or just something random that they edited out)

That doesn't phase me one bit.

Transformers was originally from the 80's.  Throughout all of their newer movies (past year 2000), theres always been a homage to toys that were popular in the 80s.

In the first movie, a little girl is seen dragging a pinkiepie plush with her when she checks out what crashed in her backyard

Saw it and smiled. Transformers was one of my favorite 80s toys.
So it was fun seeing the nod put in.

It definitely doesn't look like there was anything in the actor's hands. Both the pony and the gun are awkwardly edited in without his hands exactly gripping them.

Honestly, I thought that looked like they too a stock image of the Funko Rainbow Dash

Yea my husband just saw the movie today (he said it was really good, worth seeing definitely, so ignore the critics) and told me about rainbow dash being in it. Quite fitting, especially since mlp had a cameo in the first one as well. Love it! After all mlp and transformers go together.

I looked up the video and omg it's soo awesome!
And yea I agree, doesn't seem like he's really even holding it.
