Thailand Baby Dots and Hearts?

Hi folks,

I recently won an auction lot from Canada which included a baby dots and hearts. I am a tad curious, as under her hoof it says 'THAILAND' as opposed to the usual 'HONG KONG'.

I don't own any other baby fancy pants ponies, but were they made in THAILAND as opposed to HONG KONG, or have I come across something else?

thailand ones are the normal release for the USA and Canada. China versions were sold in europe

I freaked when I first got a baby from this set t (yup, everything else was HK or China in my collection).
I look at it as the fact that if I want a pony from every production country that this set is cheap Thailand ponies!
[I'm surprised we don't consider them nirvana's like the few big bro's from there...]

We take it as the fact they were the US release and thats what classes them as regular rather than Nirvanas. We still dont really know for certain what or where the Thailand MBs were intended for and they exist in such small numbers its hard to class them as anything other than Nirvana. I do agree it is very confusing and a little disconcerting if you dont expect anything other than Hong Kong or China under the hooves. They are just one of those exceptions to the rule.

Although they got manufactured in China as well; it should be noted there are only 4 of them with China releases and Baby Bows and Baby Sunnybunch are only released as Thailand ponies.
