My lovely little Pinkie Cooper custom that took FOREVER! Those dang little ear plugs have far more holes than it  seems like! And now, five hanks of hair later, here is my sweet little candy colored Sugar!

Did you remove her existing paint or just paint over it? And if you did remove it how did you get it off?

Thank you all! And 100% acetone works fine over all the painted parts of her body. The only part I didn't use it on is the torso so it's possible that's a different material. The rest is similar to pony vinyl though and suffered no ill effects. Be super careful of the eyes though. They melt. Legs, arms, head are all safe to use it on though.

Did the old paint leave any staining or were you able to get all of it off? I'm guessing nail polish remover isn't strong enough in any case.

It all stripped off with no staining and no trouble and yes, nail polish remover probably won't get it off very well.
