Ack! Dilemma! Who would you keep?

Right... onto my silly dilemma...

So, I have just received a double up TE Sweet Stuff. Cute pony, I really like her, but I don't want two and yet I am having a hard time choosing who to keep! Neither is perfect. I think I know the one I am angling at but just interested to know what other collectors think 

Sweet Stuff #1  One ink spot on leg that will need to be faded out and two little spots of cancer (but close together and hidden by her mane). Perfect iridescence on her eyes, perfect symbols and blush present but a bit faded. Hair - the pink has pretty much faded to white and her mane and tail are a bit fluffed and dry.

Sweet Stuff #2 No marks save one pin head sized one. Lovely hair - maybe a smidge dry at the ends and the pink is vivid in both her mane and tail. Perfect iridescence on her eyes, perfect symbols and blush is good. BUT she has about three spots of cancer - all very small, but visible!


Now... I am a sucker for good hair... especially unfaded pink hair! So I think I know who I'm leaning towards... but who out of interest would you keep and why?

ok maybe a weird question but, are they close enough a match that you can switch out the heads and move the tale to the one with the ink spot?

essentially #2's head and #1's body? but keeping #2's tail.

A good suggestion, thank you    But both heads are factory sealed so I'd be reluctant to pull them to bits and unfortunately the head with good hair happens to have a cancer spot up on her forehead anyway!

I have the same dilemma all the time and I have a lot of duplicate ponies because I'm never able to decide which ones to sell!

Anyways, I think I would keep Sweet Stuff #2. Small cancer spotst don't really bother me.

think i would go with 2 as well.
the only ponies i have more than one of are army ponies. but i always sell off the better one, and keep the worse one for myself.

I voted one. Regardless of hair colour (you can always repink it like I did with my Flurry) there are still three cancer dots on the other, and for me personally, I can't stand cancer. Just my two cents

Voted for #2. Personally I love pony hair so I want it to be as mint as possible, but I'm not too bothered by small body marks or cancer.

Tough one! I'm a sucker for lovely, silky hair too. I'd say go with number 2. I'd say you could always rehair number 1 if you don't mind rehairs, but if she already has cancer that's really up to you if you feel that would be worth it.

#1 for me as well; as others have mentioned everything else can be fixed but the age marks cant. Its a tough decision thats for certain.

Since BOTH ponies technically have cancer (#1 has the two hidden spots and #2 has three visible spots), I'd probably keep #2.  I'm also a "sucker for good hair...especially unfaded pink hair!" so that factors heavily into my decision to go with #2.

Lol!! You guys were supposed to make this easy!!!!! 

Those ruddy cancer spots are indeed my biggest conflict.... but oh... the hair!!!!  I've just brushed #2's out (she's the new arrival and had her spa yesterday) and it's gorgeous - not dry at all as it turns out (must have been all the ick that was in it)

Those spots are only small.... you can only really see them if you look for themmmmmmm.... do I sound like I am still convincing myself? It appears I am talking to myself 


The re-pinking/re-hair suggestion is a good one... but whilst I don't really have anything against the practice, I don't really like having re-pinks/re-hairs in my collection (I know... I'm a mega fusspot  )

Awww sheesh... she's sitting right next to me... she's so pretty..... ok... I think I'm keeping #2!
