What is this? (Alicorn Rainbow Dash - KO?)

I was just looking through on ebay when I stumbled on this. Is it a KO or a serious factory error?  :blink:
It's from a seller in Hong Kong, but the other ponies they're selling look legit, not like KO's.

I don't know - looks like some kind of unused button feature or something?

haha that is strange!
not going to lie though, I love the mold they used, I would love to see a Princess Luna or Princess Cadance in that mold - they don't have the weird tiny upper thighs, it just looks so elegant and well proportioned! :biggrin:

It seems like they made this mold (the fakie makers) from a Princess Luna design-a-pony - she has the knob and tab under her molded hair, so they show up on the fakie mold too.

It's a shame she's most likely a fakie, any chance she might just be an early prototype for a new FS Twilight mold... or would Hasbro not test an existing mold without removing the hair tabs first?

She popped up in another thread as others have mentioned. If she did nothing else, she helped confirm for 100% that the other fashion style ponies we have seen recently [starting with those with the Pinkie Pie Chinese New Year] are all fakies as well.

The head mould is interesting though - I still cant quite work out where that is taken from. Unless thats what the Luna head looks like under the moulded hair and its just so different I am not recognising it.

Yes she is definitly super awesome! xD she always gets the cool stuff and is so kind to help fellow collectors! She is my favorite ebay seller :-) I hope she got twilight too!

I doubt that is the mold from DaP Luna. Why do I say this? Because I've taken apart DaP Fluttershy and believe me they would have to have done some reconstruction of the head where the hair sits! and since they didn't bother removing the molded parts that held the hair to the body... yeah
