Custom pages on facebook?

Has anyone made a seperate facebook profile for just their customs? And if so, how did that work out? I'm considering it, mainly based on the fact that I prefer to keep my personal profile private, but I would like people to be able to find my custom stuff if they search for it.  And maybe I would stop spamming my real-life friends with constant pony pictures .

What are the advantages/disadvantages of doing this?

It can be pretty fun.  It does give you more control over who sees what.  There aren't too many disadvantages really, save maybe loosing out on a little bit of your viewing audience.  But if they weren't interested in the first place, what's the harm?

I have a separate FB profile for just pony stuff (couldn't figure out how to make just a page thingy), it's awesome!!

I have just the one page, mostly its just ponies seeing I spend a lot of time doing that, and my friends outside of ponyland don't mind at all!!
