ID help flocked critters?
« on: May 27, 2014, 06:30:05 AM »
Hi!

Found these around. I'm pretty sure that the two cats are Calico Critters, but the other ones... Maple Town or Forest Friends? They have squishier bodies than the cats. I'm not familiar with the non-Calico Critter line. Can anyone help identify these animals? Like what line and what species are they supposed to be?

Soft plastich would suggest Maple Town... but I don't recognize them. Can you remove the limbs?

I think by the way 2 foxes, 2 squirls, 1 bear. But I'm not sure on Maple town or sylvanian.

They are not forest family.

Okay, looks like I could tear them limb from limb pretty easily (rar! cower before my supreme strength!). So by process of elimination, Maple Town? Okay, I'll look into it, thanks!

Maple town figures tend to bend easy due to the soft plastic and their limbs can be pulled off.

The foxes look like the sylvanian fox family... but syvalians tend to have harder bodies...

anyway, maybe this website will help.

Only the first two cats are Sylvanian Families/Calico Critters. The others look like Maple Town: http://mapletown.tripod.com/figures.html

I agree. The first two cats are definitely Sylvanian, and I think the two foxes and two squirrels are Maple Town.

The last one, the happy bear, I don't know about. I don't think it's any series I've heard of, but it sure is super cute! :)
