Capsule toy collecting?

I'm wondering if anybody knows about collecting capsule toys(those little toys you get at vending machines at supermarkets and whatnot).  I'm not looking for the Japanese toys, but some vintage 80s capsule toys that were available in the States.  Are there any sites like the Arena or Dream Valley for capsule toys?  I'd like to track down some information about one specific toy from my childhood, and maybe find some more.  I just don't know where to start.
