Baby Star Hopper and Never Ending Story Racing Snail

A couple commissions I'm rather happy with how they turned out.
First is Racing Snail. another poor BBE got hacked for the Snail race. Lots of scupting went into this.I redid a few times and finally settled on a Foam frame work. What a head ache, but worth it in the end results.

Baby Star Hopper was a Rusted out , buzz cut sparkle baby that I tried dyeing. Came out darker then I wanted. The base was a really dark yellow to start out with. Rehair with tinsel and matching yellow.

That racing snail is fantastic! I loved that movie as a kid! Thanks for the nostalgia trip!

And as for the baby, had I not read the description, I'd have thought he was an actual Hasbro pony. He looks awesome!

Great job on these! Thanks for sharing -- I loved seeing them.

Thank you, I'm glad I was close enough to be recognizable. There are not many photos of the snail besides watching the movie which my kids broke.so I had to do a little guess work

Wow, that snail is super-detailed.  Did it take long to do all the sculpting?

I don't think I have ever seen a custom baby Star Hopper before!  She looks great!
