About G2 Silver Swirl's 'do - variant?

I've seen G1 collectors who go coco for "factory curls". But what about G2 hair? I have a Silver Swirl (bought in Sweden) With crazy curly hair. She came like that right of the card. It's not like the locks all over the place, but they're pretty tight and makes the mane stand up. Whenever I google this pony I see photos of a straight haired unicorn (which looks absolutely beautiful). My question is, why? Where did you get your Silver Swirl and what hairdo does she have?

I didn't get mine MIB or anything but I have one and her hair is also tightly curly and stands up against her neck. Maybe because of the tinsel in it?

Don't remember if her hair had a fold, but Trixiebelle's hair doesn't look curled like Silver Swirl's. I think it's the tightness of the curls that forces the hair to stand on end. Unfortunately I can't find the picture of her. :/

I agree with Moonflower she is packed with one giant ringlet in her hair - as per the picture of Trixiebelle - which no doubt causes the curls. I dont think its treated hair - the way we see with ponies like Lickety Split and Cherries Jubilee - I think its caused by her packaging and then probably if she is not overly played with the hair holds the packaged curl a little more.

I remember my princess Silver Swirl came with that giant ringler.
Tough the curls didint last as i played with her and her hair so much.

My old Silver Swirl (bought either in Norway or Greece, most likely Norway) also had curls, and her curls were pretty tight. Also, if you'd straighten them I think they'd not be the same length as her usual hair; I've always thought it was deliberate, that there was a curly-haired variant. I've got no proof though. I never got those kind of curls from any of my other G2's, I played a lot with Silver Swirl (I loved her fiercely) and her curls stayed put.
