Giant Interview Coming Up!

Hi Pony Peeps,

I love this community where we can get support on off-topic items in our lives.

Ok, so I have a HUGE job interview coming up towards the end of the month that is scheduled from 8 am to 3 pm, involves breakfast with one team, lunch with another, and a 20-minute presentation by me.  It is with a well-renowned University and it is in the field I have worked in for almost 8 years. 

I need some pony luck this way! Please, Please, Please!  I need the timing, salary and offer to all work out and fall into place so I am trying to get good vibes from everywhere I can think of.

Thanks, EveryPony.  Well I had my interview and I felt it went well.  At the end of it, they said I did well and asked me about the start date if that would be a problems, etc.  Then they told me that they would be submitting their choice of candidate last Tuesday to HR.

Well, oddly enough, I got a voicemail from them on this past Wednesday saying that their search was over and they are re-evaluating the position.  They said I am welcome to apply to additional positions.  They reposted the position on Friday.  So I don't know what that means and I never got a no. 

Feeling sad and need to find more hope!

Glad the interview went well.
Sounds like maybe they've had some changes in the organization, leading to re-classifying of jobs and roles (I work at a college, and they are often doing things like that). So they had to do away with their original job plan, but have posted the new jobs.
