Lol, that's true. Last year, it was Wydowna. 2012 it was Scarah/Hoodude. I'm not interested in the MH exclusive this year so I was hoping for a break.

I think what we know is that it will be $50.  It is a set.  And it makes g1 fans and g4 fans happy.  So I am thinking a g1 and a g4 packaged together.  Those were are fair hints anyways.  I am surprised so many people are guessing a doll set, I can't imagine they would do that!  Although I suppose you never know....  I hope not anyway.

Some of us do still like the mane six as long as they're sufficiently different from past releases. :p

Personally, I prefer the mane 6 (provided they are different) because I actually have a story and personality to relate to them, rather than just some pony with a different design and no background.

I actually got bored of the main 6... I'm of the mind I don't need to buy them again if I already have them.. no matter how many variations they have (they are -not- barbie which you can actually get away with buying variations of).. but I doubt I'd get the SDCC pony this year... didn't get last year's because meh it was too much and not what I would like

I think that would be great for a comic convention exclusive, but I don't expect Hasbro to do anything but paint the details on the existing G4 molds if this is the exclusive.

O.o how could it not be? Even if we didn't see art of her, having a character sharing the same name and species as a G1 pony can't be a coincidence.
