What have been some big pony disappointments for you?

I am disappointed with the quality of most gen 4 brush ables, I was so happy to see new ponies come out.

I think my biggest disappointments have been the Fair ponies from the last two years.

My biggest pony disappointment so far has been the Equestria Girls being partially bald. Just... disappointing.

Edit: Oh, and Fashion Style Pinklestia. I... just... why?

And looking nothing like their cartoon counterparts.

Ugh, I lost my G1 mlp change purse this week

I think one of my biggest disappointments was how shoddy the EqG bodies are.  Thankfully, putting the heads on MH bodies fixed that no problem!

My most recent pony plunder was thinking I got an amazing deal when I bought two MLP Big Brothers for £16 each, then seeing another seller selling the same two ponies in a bundle for £20
Still feeling a lil bummed but..I love the boys.

Can`t find my childhood herd My mom pulled them out 3 years ago when i was pregnant and my house was under construction (before I started to collect again). I asked her to put them somewhere safe, and cant find them.  

EQG long haired rainbow dash`s hair falling out in clumps, and the hair "curtains" instead of fully haired.

Lack of new brushable singles.

Bought a "box of 80s toys" off kijiji. They sold some of the ponies out of the box before I bought it but didnt change the price. The picture showed a pony diamond ringwith intact wings and the "lights camera action" glasses. The glasses never came, the diamond ring arrived broken and one of the flutter ponies wings was completely broken off and the other is hanging on by a thread. It was still a good deal though.

I bought another lot off of kijiji without realizing that they had hair trims till after I had them in the car. Even with the trims they were still a good deal.

Buut..

All of 3.5 was a disappointment

For me recently it was buying a TE Whizzer on eBay and when she came in her head was a distinct different color. I was so looking forward to her but thankfully I got one on here for a decent price.

The biggest one for me is not being able to find any of the old Mane 6 Fashion Styles anywhere.  There are still a couple of the Celestia and Luna ones around, the former of which I want to get soon, but nothing older than that.  I do wish I had bought them when I had the chance, but then I didn't really want Fashion Styles (with the exception of the Pinkie Pie's Boutique one), due to the price and the size.

I'm definitely in the minority here, but for me the release of G4 was a big disappointment. When I was told that MLP had taken a new direction, I was hoping for something more similar to the original ponies.

That being said, I don't have much of an opinion on G4s, I'm pretty neutral about them.

My biggest pony disappointment has to be the 2013 Fair pony. It was the first Fair I'd ever been to and I was really excited. I had a great time at the fair but I wish the pony for it had met my expectations like all the past ones had. Even if I didn't necessarily like all the designs of the past fair ponies I could at least appreciate the creativity that went into the art ponies. As of right now my DJ is still in her box packed away somewhere in the garage.

Buying a minty UK grail pony off ebay, only to have the seller ship a common, somewhat dirty US pony by mistake.  As far as I know, the person who received my pony never returned her to the seller as they asked   At least I got a full refund.

I don't know really. Being let down on a trade once or twice was gutting, especially as there were things I had wanted, but other than that, I guess I've been pretty lucky.
