This lady is un-named at the moment, I'm leaving it to her new owner to give her a name.

Made from a battered Windy, she has been first painted with rainbow stripes and then covered with beads. Her hair has been curled using straws and boiling water, and as this was only my second ever attempt at this, I don't think it turned out too badly ^^ I just wish the tail had been a little bit longer, because two of the ringlets didn't touch the ground and have stretched and uncurled slightly. Hindsight is a wonderful thing >< The seven colours have been curled separately in the tail, and the mane was done using two plugs of each colour at a time, and then one section of seven colours twisted together to make a stripey curl.

I used MLP nylon hair from My Little Customs - Candy Apple, Marmalade, Lemon Drop, Key Lime, Atomic Turquoise, After Midnight and Amethyst were the colours I used, and chosen to match the beads as closely as possible.

This picture shows the *slightly* wonky tail, the blue and yellow curls are the ones that didn't quite reach the floor. They do now!

It looks like you sewed the beads together first then attached them, is that right?  Very neat look!
