I want a perfume that smells like ponies! Opinions needed.

So I've been getting into fragrance, but let's face it: G1 pony smell is best smell! So how would you describe the pony scent? I'm hoping that if I can identify the notes I can find some kind of scent that is close.

So far I think pony smell - which is probably best described as 'sweet plastic' - might have traces of vanilla, iris, and dust in it. 

Greek G1 Nirvana ponies smell much more strongly of vanilla and sweet.

I had no idea what pony smell even was until I ordered a pony for a swap partner recently, and was like...wow, this smells SO good! And then I KNEW because I remembered that smell from childhood! It's crazy addictive!

I'd start here.

They've got various vanilla based scents, an iris, and then they've got 'dust', 'glue', and there's no 'plastic', but there is a 'vinyl'.

Anne, I was going to start with Demeter but there's actually a company that'll custom-blend a perfume for you --- I know what I want for my birthday!

oh what scent do you think would be close to the perfume puff ponies? I love that smell I have a perfume puff that still has her scent and not gonna lie I huffed that pony for about ten minutes today I had my nose buried in her main

G1 pony smell is the absolute best It's the perfect combination of baby powder and vanilla

There are also some perfumers on etsy who do bespoke orders. The one I'd been looking at a while back took their shop down, I don't know if it's temporary or not... but I know there are several others, I just haven't been in a place to look seriously. But you may as well shop around and look at different perfumers before you make the leap! Someone will be able to do just what you want.

I hate this smell, honestly. Can't stand anything with even a hint of baby powder to it. But for those of you who don't, find yourselves a specialty grocery store with a good stock of Torani syrups. I sampled their honey vanilla a while back, and my immediate reaction was "Oh God, it tastes like an 80s toy smells."

I think pony smell is light vanilla with a hint of must to it. Wouldn't really describe it as 'gluey'.

I make perfumes that smell of confectionery by dunking the sweet in boiling water and straining it. Maybe you could do something similar with pure vanilla?
