Does anyone have comparison pictures between the new Disney Store Classic versions of Elsa and Anna and the original ones?  I read online that the new ones are not the same quality as the old ones.

Yes I do (at least of Elsa. Anna and Rapunzel are still on the way to me. Elsa was released first )  :) gimme a sec and I'll see if photobucket is working :awake:

I actually think that for a more simplified second release doll this Elsa is really nice. Of course the original is always going to be the best but this on isn't nearly so disappointing in real life as she seemed to be from online reports (at least in my opinion ;) )

New 2015 Elsa

I have an army of loose (and boxed) original Elsa dolls but only one of the new 2015 one so I haven't deboxed her yet . I think you can tell some differences from the pics  though ;)

Thanks for the pictures, Ringlets. :) The 2015 Elsa is pretty in real life. I wonder why the online reviews for her so far are bad? I think the rhinestones on the 2015 Elsa's dress are nice, they look a little bit like ice to me.

That's what I think too Ponyfan - the little gems on her dress look like ice crystals and they catch the light   (the pics don't show that up so well as in real life, but still look better than the pics of her from DS) . The box is still detailed, and the dress is pretty and a slightly darker shade of blue. Her hair is shorter but less messy on top than the original. The face is the same. I cant see if she has bendy legs or jointed legs..they look bendy to me but without deboxing I wont know for sure.
I just got an email saying Anna (and Rapunzel) will be delivered today so I can do some Anna comparisons soon as well :)

Elsa makes a great Salior Moon. :)

I still have those extra Frozen Anna Zuru figures if anyone is interested.

Edit:  I found the Anna and Kristoff Troll wedding set today.

The US Disney store website restocked the Singing Elsa ornament from last year  that has Elsa on the balcony of the ice palace and sings "Let it Go" :)

The Real Action Heroes have gone up for preorder (estimated release date of March '16 (Anna), and April 16 (Elsa)), and wow. They are stunning. Disney, take notes because THIS is how you make dolls that actually look like your characters:

Also massive points for no generic barbie face and not using the same old expressions all the other merchandise seems to have.

Nendoroid Anna! She's kinda pricey considering she comes with so little compared to Elsa...Sigh. GSC are doing their "charge more for the 'partner' to a previously released figure because people will buy it to complete the set" rubbish...

The Nendoroids? Anna and Elsa are around 4000yen each (roughly £20/$30 I think), plus postage (and import customs) if imported from Japan. Buying them from a shop in your own country might be a lot more expensive.
