pokemon card trading?

Hi I was just curious if anyone still collected pokemon cards?

I handed my collection down to my son many years ago, and hes always loved looking through it and re-organizing things his own way. recently he finally bought some new xy packs with his allowance. Then today I surprised him with a new pack of cards, a binder that i decorated with pokemon stickers and fresh pocket pages. So that he could start and organize his new, growing collection.

 I honestly dont know much about pokemon cards, since im more into the DS games. but hes getting quite the collection of doubles and I was just wondering if anyone else here still collected them? or maybe had kids of their own who also collected and might be looking for a few basic trades?

He doesn't have any really special extras, and honestly he would be happy with literally any pokemon card that he doesn't already have, from any generation. (which is quite a lot)

Well, as I collect MLPs and my boyfriend collects CDs - We had to have a hobbie of collecting something together! So we chose pokemon cards!

He had tons still from when he was little, and the same with myself, so we're collecting them together!
We're only wanting the First Gen cards though - none of this black and white rubbishh!
To us, theres only 152 pokemon ever! - The rest is a LIE!
Haha!

But I've been secretly collecting all the generation cards!
I'm happy to trade my doubles for his! - if he's got any we need (as we're so not done, so the options are pretty open!)
So far; I've got 84 Cards up for trade <3

Let me know what he has
As it would be a trade, I'd be 100% to pay for postage etc, if you'd do the same!

My boyfriend and I collect the HGSS series and are missing some cards, especially from Undaunted but also a few off of Unleashed and HeartGold SoulSilver. PM if ya want to discuss trading.

well after re-looking thorugh his extras, they ALL came from XY decks. im not sure how that affects people who collect older things? because like i said i dont know much at all about collecting the cards xD
