As I've said, I've rehaired my bait. I have a shopping list for everything else, and all my inspiration pictures together. I have a pretty good idea of my ultimate intended outcome!

Huzzah, bait found and prepped. Well, bait #2, for my plan B pony. I still have to figure out what bait to use for my plan A... which is intimidating me x_x

I already despise the time I will have to rehair... the bait is so hard it will cost me at least two needles... *sigh* Any ideas how to soften up the neckline when you did a full body repaint?

I've heard some people mention using a heating pad (or you could probably use a hot water bottle) and letting the head rest on it. I would thing that might warm and soften it just a little without risking damage to the paint.

The heating pad thing is such a great tip- I'll have to remember that one.

NoD, you are doing 2 ponies? I'm still thinking about doing a second one. I wonder if a small g3 McD's pony would be okay. Or maybe I'll just do the whole enchilada. I guess I'll see how time plays out.

I have been doing some painting .. I hope my partner will be happy with what I am making.. I still need to order hair.. that has to wait until the middle of the month .. but I will be ordering some for the twisted swap as well so yay..

Wow.  Woooooow...  Okay, so, my partner had an animal of sorts on her list, right?  I drew it, but had trouble with the bottom half, so I tried to have the bottom half kind of fade off in a ghostly manner (which also suited the background), and the ghostly fade somehow ended up looking like a seahorse tail.  And the animal isn't even close to resembling a seahorse.   Yeah, maybe I should fix that...
