the wands/spellbooks went over so well! there are some photos of the girls on the dance floor using the wand as a microphone, and another of my niece sitting in the corner reading her book -- it was so cute!

Favorite Book:  Chamber of Secrets.  Same for movie, but I prefer the book.

I'm a fan of book and movies 1-3.  When it starts getting darker is when I start losing interest; I think that's why I was never able to finish the 7th book.  It's weird...

@Jupi:  Those are so cool!  I love the wands, and the chocolate frog looks great.

Love the wedding pics! I wish I would have thought of some of that for my own wedding! Is that fake fur in the culdrons? It looks ingenious! The chocolate frogs and wand for the kids are such a great idea for Favors!

It was so much fun planning a HP wedding! (we even said "always" instead of "I do" hehe. and the invites were marauder's maps)

the cauldrons have tulle and electric tea lights in them ^_^

I think I have my symbol designed figured out....I just need to pick a bait and hair color....
Partner, are there any poses that you don't care for?

What I would be doing:
I would most likely be in the library, wolfing down information as much as I could. I would most likely be from a muggle family after all.

Poses I don't care about:
Hum. G3 Donkey pose and G3 core six pose. For G1 everything is fine and for G2 I don't care about the magic motion ponies/the ponies with moving limbs.


edited to add: Finally decided what to do for my partner I had the idea ready, but I had two options how to make it and now I managed to decide which option to choose.

Hmm. Probably in the library reading, or maybe in the courtyard reading under a tree.

My favorite is Half Blood Prince, second favorite is Prisoner of Azkaban.

Okay i got a question
If the sorting hat were to choose your house which one would you be in and why?
For me it would either be gryphendor because im kinda brave or ravenclaw because I'm a nerd (about hp at least)

Oh snap! It might be a stupid question, but what did you make the wands out of? Also, did the books have actual spells in them form the books/movies? Because that would just be too adorable for words.

And just soes ya know, Jupi, I would be more than happy to take those reject frogs off your hands.

I'm a Ravenclaw. I sorted myself into Ravenclaw when I first got into Harry Potter. All the online quizzes I've taken have given me the result of Ravenclaw. And when Pottermore came out, it sorted me into Ravenclaw as well. I attended all the midnight movie opening and midnight book release parties dressed as a Ravenclaw, complete with a scarf that my father made for me. Ravenclaw suits me very well, I love to read and to learn. After all, "Wit beyond measure is man's greatets treasure."

the wands are actually chopsticks, hot glue and paint. I had faaaaaaaar too much fun making them! and yes, the spell books have 75+ spells in them ^_^ (the magic word, and what they do)


as for sorting, I always said Gryffindor, but I was Pottermore sorted into Slythern

oh and I don't have any poses that I don't like...I have seen them all work well for particular customs. I will say my favorite pose is seaspray (I seem to like the less common poses - haha)

At one point I read an article and discussion about the pottermore sorting algorithm and it turns out it was basically just one step above random assignment. So I don't put much stock in what pottermore says.

And at any rate, remember that personal choice plays a part in house sorting anyway
