If she was somehow different I would get her, but I don't see any differences.  Like with Lyrica we had a straight leg version on taobao that never made it to market.  But I think all the early bird ponies look just like the releases from the toy fair photos.

A combination of people not knowing [there are a large amount of fandom members who dont follow the toy releases at all after all], bragging rights bidders and of course those who are perhaps willing to consider she may just end up released a little different after all. All of that is going to make her surprisingly expensive at this point, I guess.

The ebay listing is up to $50.  I wonder if people don't realize she will be released.

People just want their thing and they don't want to wait.  Or maybe bragging rights.

I really want her too-  but the price on ebay AND Taobao keeps her from being tempting- also she doesn't come with her dress which I think is what makes her so dang cute.   

I wanted to get her to but not for that price, going to wait till she comes out and then it will go down on price. And I also agree about the dress

Yup! Months before the set was even announced, mangoflavorcm on ebay got their hands on one and auctioned it, and it got up that high. When I get home I can find the link!

I doubted, just because ebay says it sold  ,it does not mean that it got paid , probably an unpaid auction like many more

It's one of the first G4 I am really excited about, she is totally lovely, the black and white hair is so stylish, and the haircut is adorable! The bangs aren't sticky, you can easily comb them. I adore her!

To all the people saying her cutie mark reminds you of the game Portal, its because it's an aperture! Its the part on the camera that you adjust to let light in or keep out. The Aperture Science logo is, needless to say, an aperture.

More on topic, I love her hair and her eye lashes! I've been off pony collecting for months, but if they made more ponies with adorable hair styles like that, I would have to give in.
