Butterscotch looks like fading... and the CP ponies are notorious for having different numbers of symbols on each side...

HK ponies have hoofprints in circles... These don't. That's why I'm asking...

I am going to bump this over to the Corral for you :)

As others have mentioned all of these are just regular release ponies. The key is the having the Hong Kong or China stamp - only a small selection of ponies have those and are properly considered nirvana or dont fall into an either or grey area.

Thank you Matcha for my gorgeous Baby Fifi avi

Those are all beautiful ponies, but all standard releases and nothing "variant" about them.  All ponies in all generations are going to be slightly different from each other.  Plastic is made in large batches, even if you do it exactly the same a second time, the batch will be different.

The hooves are the only way to tell if a pony is from a non-Asian country of production.  And as it was mentioned, the Flat Foot collector's ponies are the only ones with the circle in their hooves.  It's standard for ponies to have hooves just like yours do.

Being 30 years old, they all fade over time and have different symbols sometimes... those are simply factory flaws, but those don't usually make a pony more special than the standard release.  Think about it from a clothing perspective:  Designer jeans #1 could have a slightly different stitching on the pant hem than designer jeans #2... they are both the same cut, style, color... just the factory worker shifted a bit when sewing them up!

It is impossible to make exactly identical items when they are made en-masse in a factory line.  It makes for interesting collecting!  :)

I agree with Sunshine...the white butterflies really look better than the orange, I think! I'd love to fade a Butterscotch to look like that on purpose :)
