Finally got a chance to start today. Started some sculpting. Hope she comes out the way I picture her in my head

edit: If I can find them that is. Sigh, I have too many ponies so some of them are in the storage. I guess the fakies I have in mind are there.

I got my non hasbro-fakie done!!!!   I have to say that I like how she came out!  Alas, my Hasbro fakie isn't coming out quite as well, but I'll force myself to finish her since I don't have a lot of custom practice...

ugh I hate working 40hrs a week... makes it hard to do any work on ponies

Same here! Done it for the past 15 years - ick!

add me in! though for me it is 8.5 officially hrs a day which usually ends up being at least 9. I so so so hate that it's already dark or starting to get dark by the time I get home (but at least it's starting to get dark later, this is the main reason I'm waiting for summer), I just don't like to do anything artsy-craftsy under artificial lights
I'll have to though: it's still gloomy and rainy here... no wonder I haven't done much to my poor baby yet. I started working on rerooting the tail, but that's all.

Try working 60 hrs a week.  On a good week.     But that is why I have the weekend! Or usually at least one of the weekend days...

is it even legal to work 60 hours a week? my company sometimes also makes us do such lovely things (they were only unlucky coincidences though. if it was regular I'd have already left the company), or at least did, but they recently failed an audit as it isn't legal.

I had to strip one pony down.. changed paint an the new didn't agree with the old.. plus I now have to find a new sealer D: suggestions (and please don't say mod podge..)

Testers Dullcote is a great sealer- you can get it on amazon or somewhere like hobby lobby

OMG I would freaking love if it weren't legal.  It is SO legal.  Working 40 hours a week around here means you are a slacker.  When I read about the vacation days and weekly and hourly work weeks that are normal in other countries, I am SO envious...   

I made good time with my non-hasbro fakie because a) I have been super inspired based on some awesome bling that I had to affix to her) and b) during the one hour of freetime after dinner and before bed- where we usually watch tv, I have my supplies all set up and have been working on her every night for at least 30 minutes.   ALso I had this last Sat. and the Sat. before-  seriously I can't remember when I've put so many hours into an art project-  I sure hope you guys like her!!!

Galactica, I'm trying to switch from testors. The two ponies I'm painting are white and the last white painted pony I sealed with it became somewhat yellowed

Anyone know anything about her? Her plastic is regular fakie-plastic, squishy and soft, but the design is close to original ponies, especially her head is really cute!

I won't participate with this fakie though as I don't think she'd qualify to Hasbro-category, I will try and find the pink sparkly Crumpet-fakie I have in mind.

Looks like Tassles/Brilliant Blossom mold minus the tassles. I've never seen one of those before! Now I want one!

Yeah, I must have picked her up from some flea market ages ago as I didn't remember owning her. She does indeed look like a Tassels/Brilliant Blossoms minus the tassels and flowers of the saddle, no wonder she is so cute.
