She has had a tail like original MLP's and has had one row of hair, but all that is left of those is the washer inside her and couple of hair tufts on her neck.
Omg, she must be related to my Pirkko. :D Same mould but mine is yellow, slightly see-through and she glows in the dark. I could never customize Pirkko, she's the queen and guardian of my herd!  :P

I'm very much tempted to join and I should have some suitable fakies, let me check my bait box!

Hehee Griffin, Pirkko must be related to my fakie pony Kunkku, he is made of similar plastic, glows in the dark and has beddy bye eyes :D Maybe these three are all of the same family XD

Quick question for the non-hasbro part: Can we use things like the Cabbage Patch ponies, or are they a no-go since it's technically a different toy line rather than a fakie?

I've just realised I don't have much fakies. apart from my lovely childhood ones (whom I would never customize) I only have a few (definitely less than 5, including the 2 from which I'll use one for this challenge). I usually donate fakies back to thrift stores or sell them if I receive them in lots.
now I so regret leaving that fakie G3 baby behind whom I saw in a thrift store on Wednesday, and for a moment considered buying exactly to customize. poop! :( I hope she went to a loving little girl's home!

these are the fakies I'm thinking of using:

I think I'm more likely to enter with the orange one, as I have clear plans on customizing the purple one, but I don't have all the needed hair in hand.
whereas I'm sure the purple one qualifies as a Hasbro mold fakie, I'm not sure about the orange one. could someone help me out here?

she's a well-done girl for a fakie, but she definitely is a fakie ^^ she had so few and bad quality hair (that's all she had what's visible, no missing plugs), her plastic is more lightweight than that of a regular G3, and she has no stamps on her feet.
also, of this I'm not 100% sure (and at the moment she's somewhere under a pile of stuff which I said I will pack away "this weekend" about a month ago  -_- ), but she is a little smaller than a real G3.
I'll dig her up, now you made me curious :D
