Have you ever seen blue hair turn green??

Since everyone's monitors are different, I took a comparison shot with my other Banan Surprise, so you can see the colour difference between the two.  It's quite bright in person.  I washed her hair first, but it doesn't seem to have changed.  I suspect it's what mermaid said, a side effect from the scent that was added.  I think Sugar Sweet was scented too, right?  It's not fading from the sun, since she was store in a box for most of her life before coming to me.  Her body is the most pink I've seen for a banana surprise.

I'm starting to think less of it as a flaw, and more as something that makes her unique, thanks to your comments =)

Thats a great comparison picture! It even makes that little gradient at the root of her hair a little more noticeable.

I think she is awesome that way Dont you wonder how much more popular she may have been if she had that hair colour considering how popular green always is in MLP with collectors?

That's a good point =).  Wasn't she voted 'Most under-appreciated pony' in an arena poll?  I think green is popular because it's so rare in ponyland.  Maybe she'd be more popular this way.

This is my childhood SS Scrumptious...None of my other ponies are faded (all of my Poseys still have vibrant pink hair as do my Lickety Splits) and all my ponies with a fading pink streak in their hair still have the strong pink color. But for some reason my Scrumptious did this:

her tail has a weird gradient in it that changes from green to bluish to teal. I'll try to get a good butt shot during daylight hours and see if it'll stand out more.

Oooh! Now that you point it out I can kind of see something at the root of her tail! Weirdly wonderful!

Wow that is green! Maybe that explains why mine didn't match the hair I rehaired her with when she should have! It as just a bit too green. I just blew it off as it just not being an exact match, but maybe it really should have been.
