glitter shoes

The Mouse needed dressy shoes for a party this weekend.  Slivery glitter is the choice.  Can I seal the glitter so it sticks in place?

This sounds so cute.  Checking online tutorials suggests sealing is a good thing, however, you can use different things.  One suggests Mod Podge or glue but it almost looks like it takes away some of the glitter shine, another person said hair spray but I'm not sure how that would hold up and yet another site suggested spray varnish.  Let us know how they turn out.  If possible, can you do some tests?  Good luck.

I've sealed glitter before with glossy Mod Podge and it works ok.  I wouldn't use the matte though, as that might dull the sparkles.
