Zoids!

Is anyone here into Zoids, the robotic animal models? Hasbro distributed them back in 2001. They were models you could put together and they would wind up! There were also some back in the 80's, but I don't know much about those.

I recently got really into them again. I only have a Command wolf model right now, but I really want a Liger Zero.

Do any of you guys remember them or have any?

Yes! I was totally obsessed with this show. I would love to find a liger zero model someday too  I found one once, but it had a bunch of parts broken off

Yeah, that's the hardest part of finding them; missing parts! And I've been re-watching the anime recently and it's held up pretty well! not amazing, but the zoids are still cool as ever!

I love the show, and I have wanted a Zoid model ever since I was a kid, but they are SOOOO expensive!  One of these days I will get a couple though.  I really want a Konig Wolf and a Berserk Fuhrer.

I hate hate HATE how expensive they have become... It makes me wish even more that I had kept my childhood Liger Zero; he goes for about $60 these days!
and my dream zoid, besides a Liger Zero wind up, would be a HMM Command Wolf! They're so awesome

I had one that looked a bit like a T Rex, it was upright, and small and maroonish and grey from what I remember. I only got it as the toy shop had run out of Transformers, but I couldn't make friends with it as it wasn't Optimus Prime or a friend, so it didn't stay with me for very long. I'll have to go and look up which one it was now! Never got a Transformer in the end. Sob.

I have a bunch of the smaller ones.  I have two large figures.  Ones a dark spiner the other my childhood berserk furry.  I have the comics and a few more models I'll probably never put together.

Mine was a lot smaller than that, and more upright, think it wound up and walked, and occasionally tripped over it's own feet on uneven surfaces!

I think that the one that you might of had was called Rev Raptor.

I used to love Zoids! More the show than the toys, because I wasn't too fond of the wind-up mechanism, but I had a couple of those, too. I had a Command Wolf that I think I inherited from my brother, and a...Shadow Cat? Is there one called Shadow Cat? I think it was a small red leopard or something? I loved the different incarnations of the Liger, but I never owned any of them.

Edit: Never mind, after flipping through a Zoids wiki, it looks like the one I had was called Helcat. I think it's still around here somewhere...

I had a green Command wolf and a red liger at one point but I sold them. Still have the Chaotic century Manga, need more of those.
