I've heard so many times on the arena that Magic Erasers are the super best things ever.

Well it seems that they're being sold in the UK now! Or they had for ages and I've only just found them.

Anyway, how do I go about cleaning a pony with it? Only I'm worried if I'm too hard it will damage them!
Should I test on a baity first?

Advice please and thank you!  :accomplished:

I can't give you advise on how to use it but where did you find it? I've never found a magic eraser before.

Is this one of the Flash brand ones? I saw those and hesitated as the way they're used sounded different to the Mr. Clean ones (Flash ones need to be wet, whereas the Mr.Clean ones don't, I think?) so I wasn't sure it would work in the same way

I have no idea if it's not a Mr.Clean brand - but with the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser you just wet it and wipe ;)

Also, I wanted to add that I use off-brand types all the time, like our local grocery store brand and have had no issues with them versus Mr. Clean brand

Ah okay. Whenever I've heard people talk about it they've always said it's like a very fine sandpaper and haven't ever mentioned needing to get it wet so I was super confused

Its doesn't feel like a sandpaper...its just that it acts like one if that makes sense? You can use them wet or not wet but damp is always the best I find...just mildly dampened.

We have always had them over here, its just that with Flash getting on the band wagon suddenly they are branded up and in your face on stores shelves. You can usually by £1 ones in all the discount shops and branded ones in the supermarket.

The best advice is to initially use them carefully. When used too aggressively or too much in on place they can cause damage. So just gently use them on the marks and keep checking as you go :)

Thank you Matcha for my gorgeous Baby Fifi avi

Like Hathorcat said, just dont "SCRUB" a pony with one. They work great for old dirt wipe downs though, I use them for everything so i was excited to find out i could clean ponys with them as well. xD

And I hardly ever use the actual branded ones, the cheap ones work just as well! About the sandpaper thing, I can kinda see why someone might htink that? They kinda do have a very slight coarse feeling when theyre dry, but they feel more gentle when wet, Iv never had them scratch a pony, or any surface for that mater.

I bought a Flash one for £1 from Wilkinsons, made my Flutter Morning Glory come up beautiful! Just wet it, squeeze and wipe!

Cheers ladies!
Yes, it is a Flash one, like Stars mentioned, I also got mine from wilko's for a quid. They were advertised on a blackboard when I went in, so I dived for one, hehe.
I'll give it a go tonight on one of my more baitier ponies just to check first. Dampen it, squeeze it and wipe, no scrubbing! Got it! ;]

Oh! Just remembered that I saw an off branded one in Savers on offer I believe. Or it might have been Flash again, not sure. So Wilko's or savers is the place to look! :]

Magic eraser can take off symbols. They do not contain any chemicals, its the structure of the sponge that does the magic, which is like a very fine sand paper. You could always try it on something else non pony. I love them on foggy glass, shower doors, dirty walls, stove, as well as ponies. A drop of soap whitens dirty ones up again.

Morrisons in the UK do the Doktor Power ones - Clare has had great success with them used wet and apart from wet-wipes doesn't use anything else on grubby ponies now ;)

I like the flash extra power eraser, just annoying that they fall to bits after a few uses!
