Is there a difference in rarity/price between the two baby princess sparkles?

Not that I'm aware of.

It's often hard to see the difference from pictures, but the purple glittered one I believe is the one that's harder to come by. I think because the difference is so minor that often the two stay at the same price though.

I could very well be wrong though, so if someone were to come by and say one way or another it'd be helpful

Yes! Definitely. Speaking as someone who is always on the look out for the blue-purple version. The Moondancer purple coloured one comes up much much much more often than the Glory purple coloured one. I could have purchased the former one twenty times over the other one. So the blue purple one is much rarer than the red purple one.

As for price however there is less of a difference. Not everyone is aware of the different versions and not everyone is on the look out for both so that tends to make them not too far apart in price. You should however expect to be around $10-15 higher on the blue purple version as long as its clearly listed.

Hm, I wonder if the Glory purple was a Canadian release?  I just checked my childhood Baby Princess Sparkle, and she's the dark purple variant. Sadly I've never come across another, so it's pure speculation.

I got mine from someone who bought Baby Princess Sparkle in Canada, and mine is the dark purple symbol one too! I guess it would be hard to tell if there's a difference in release country though.
