USPS discontinued online shipping labels to the UK?

I was attempting to print a shipping label to the UK and upon review I noticed the postal code was not showing up. I contacted a rep from the postal service and was told that USPS has discontinued the online printing option for the UK. Does anyone know why? Now my buyer has to send me an additional $5 so I can ship this item.

I think your right though. I went to try and print a fake label and there is no choice for the United Kingdom. Why in the world would they do that?

I just thought about it, I wonder if you have to use Great Britain-Northern Ireland option now????

I tried that and the postal code would not show up on the shipping label. I picked every option possible to see if it would work and it wouldn't show up.

Wonder if its because our tracking here is different to the USA? doesnt actually track every step

Even First Class shipping from the US to the UK comes with tracking now - it's been a relief, actually, but I don't think it would bother the ability to print postage..

I just went and tried to test print a label to the UK, and it would only let me use "GREAT BRITAIN AND NORTHERN IRELAND" like Ponylady said. Maybe there's something wrong with the address?

It let me ship a package there, though I did have to choose the Great Britain and Northern Ireland option, I guess I'll know soon if it gets there? lol.  I remember being confused when previewing that the postal code wasn't listed, but it printed on the label for me if I remember right.  I also just checked my email receipt, the postal code is listed on it too.

I selected that as the country.... maybe it's because the city wasn't a valid drop down after I selected the correct province. No idea. The city is valid though. Guess I just need to go to the PO.

Hmm, for me the province wasn't listed so I just chose GB/Northern Ireland again and entered the City/Province manually, it let me do it that way.  PO may be the best option though, just to be sure >.<

Yeah that's what I did and once I got to the review stage before printing there was no postal code on there. So I'll just take it and mail it from there.

Hmm thats odd      At this point if its still not working for you then its best to go to the PO and get it checked then send it from there

Same happend to me and now i am up chit creek without a paddle with at leasty 4 poeple here.
