How sensitive are the decals to full submersion?

I used a peroxide bath and covered the symbol in white Elmer's glue. Only took a couple of hours and it was white white white! I let the glue dry, of course :) I can't say it won't fade the symbol if left in too long, though.

I have never tried it! But I would think a coat of pva glue might protect the decals.

I found most luck by painting on some bleach cream and just going around the symbol. Then covering the symbol with tinfoil and popping it into the sunlight to work great. Everything else I have tried has damaged the symbol a little unfortunately - some times pretty mildly damaged but enough that side by side you can see some difference in colour.
Thank you Matcha for my gorgeous Baby Fifi avi
