Captain Vegetable is stuck in my head now.

I love this one. I believe came out right before Jim Henson died. So it kind of gives it a sadder feeling for me.

I have several Sesame Street records and they crack me up.

Including this classic!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AUkoLMbeuoQ
COOKIE DISCO

I never seen that one. I just spit my pop out. LOL

It was new to me too! XD
Cookie sure spends a lot of time in the disco.
I love I lost my cookie at the disco.
I also love this more modern parody with Cookie: Share it Maybe.

Bert Doin the Pigeon remains fun to me too. :D

And I don't know if this one has been posted yet, but you've got to love the Song of the Count.

Ha ha, yes, you guys are reminding me of the awesome Sesame Street songs. I love the Batty Bat song, and my brother and I used to have a tape with Put Down the Ducky, Monster in the Mirror . . . I remember that my brother and I were terrified of one segment where Bert and Ernie were in an Egyptian tomb and Ernie met a mischievous mummy who disappeared every time Ernie called Bert back in.

I actually was enjoying watching Sesame Street with the baby I babysit, but then they changed the broadcast time. *grumble* Their skits were pretty hilarious. I had forgotten how funny the show was. And when they bring celebrities in. They had Jason Mraz singing "I'm Yours," but the lyrics were something like, "I - want - to - go - outdoooors!" Very cute.

I had to buy the 40 years of sunny days DVD set.  It has a ton of my favorite skits and it reminds me of all the best life lessons that Sesame taught me as a good.  My favorite is "Here, fishy fishy fishy" done by Ernie and Bert.
