Commissions and New Stuff
« on: February 28, 2014, 12:06:31 AM »
Hey Everyone!

I've got some new art I'd like to share. I hope you like it :)

Plus, I am looking to go to a convention this spring and would love to have the money to do that, LOL  :frolic: So I'm open for commissions. I'll show some samples of ponies in this post and my new stuff and if you're interested, you can check out my prices and info at Raven's Hollow Pony Stables: http://ravenshollowponystable.blogspot.ca/p/pony-illustrations-and-ponysonas.html

Feel free to PM instead of emailing, whatever you prefer :)

New cover art for my novel --- which is why I need to go to that convention!

Cover art for a novel called "The Kingdumb." It's a satire where the emloyees serve animals. Each animal represents a type of consumer: sheep, asses, and pigs. Hehehe.

Aaaaaaand I just thought I'd toss in an old drawing from Spirit:

Oooo, I like them all but I'm very taken in with the one you did of your friend's horse. Can't look away. What amazing detail in the fields, too. I love the color and the medium and it's drawn very well as well. Thanks for sharing!

Awesome work and great variety! I love the first one and the cover art for The Kingdumb looks very appealing, the design is simple and effective. Good luck with your commissions!

Thank you very much and you're welcome:) It's pencil crayon and pen on watercolor paper. It too me forever to do all those grass blades! LoL :)

Thank you! I find sometimes the simple the cover art, the more appealing it is. These days I walk through a book store and it's a fully illustrated photoshop image, one right after the other, hot guy, hot girl, and my eyes tend to glaze right over.

Thanks again :)

Thank you much! I am so glad you like him ^.^

The second drawing down of your friends horse, the gradual fade out from the grass toward the horizon looks really awesome (so are the colours you chose for the grass and sky). I like the Spirit fanart, too :) I still have my Spirit and Rain plushies!

I was going to ask what medium it was! It's really beautiful, I stared at it forever again just now. Crayon on watercolor paper, how cool!

Thank you very much! Two days on those grass blades. Two DAYS! LOL :) I really appreciate the compliment.

Hehehe. I'm an all around horse lover and someone asked me to draw Spirit for his grand daughter, so I did :) Really nice guy. All though, I wish I had finished his legs a bit more. Ah well :) Free art, right?

Hey Ponycake! Thank you :) You're so kind! I use Prisma coloured pencils. They drive me nuts that they break so easily, but they blend so beautifully.

Thanks again!
