Excel G1 checklist/database

Hi folks,

My searches online (on here and google)  have uncovered nothing but a bunch of dead links when I've tried looking for an excel spreadsheet/checklist for G1s.

Does anyone have one that they could send to me please?  I'd prefer one that includes UK releases at a minimum, but one with European-made nirvana's would be amazing too!  My email is listed on my profile - I don't mind being bombarded with them!

I have actually made one and use it regularly.  I know there are others out there, but their organization didn't work for the way my brain does, since everyone thinks differently.  I also like working with Excel, so I weirdly enjoyed making it.

So far I've got US/UK releases.  It has separate sheets for ponies, playsets, and ponywear and additional sheets for Baby Pony accessories and Adult Accessories.  I tried putting them in the pony sheet, but it was too difficult to search by accessory.  I'm working on putting in ribbon color and comb/brushes information, but should be finished that by the end of the week.

If anyone has a suggestion for where/how to upload it so others can download it, I'd be happy to do it.  I could use Google Drive, but I think I'd have to create a new account for it. I could also email it individually.

I'd also love to see what other spreadsheets people use to track ponies.  I know some people use ponydex, but I never heard back from them about my registration request.

I found a spreadsheet online probably 8 months ago at this point... I'll have to see if I saved it. I printed it out to bring with me

Bibsy-- what you have sounds terrific. Could googledocs handle someting like that? I've only ever used it for word-like docs, not spreadsheets. I know with googledocs you just provide the url to people.

If you click on the accessory file part of my sig that should take you to a list of all the G1 ponies for US and the UK... I did expand it to Nirvanas too but it doesn't seem to be part of that file - I can upload that too if anyone would like to see. You can save the file and change it however you like
It's based on MOC/MIB/MIP ponies focussing on accessories but the nirvana section has a written description of the pony too.

Just downloaded Chrissytree's, it's amazing! Bibsy yours sounds great too - I'm also pretty fussy with format, and would love to see what you have, even if you just emailed it out to peeps and didn't put it on g-docs, I'd be happy with that! I have one that's just for ponies, but it's only ponies I'm looking for - I took strawberry reef's and tweaked it for my needs, added in other gens and stuff, it's just for my wish list though, so would take a LOT of work if someone wanted to use it for themselves.

Chrissytree's sheet is great and superthorough!  My brain just wanted something where I could easily sort by item and type.  So my sheet is most of the same information, just organized differently   Maybe it's a left brain right brain thing 

I've got a busy week, but I promise to post it this weekend/email people who have PM'd me about it

I have many many files, each organised in a different way... I think my brain overworks I'm so glad to have excel now... when I started with lists of ponies it was all handwritten! I think I could fit them on 8 sides of A4 paper, I used to change the colour of the pony when I got them. Soooo, much easier just to change one cell of a file

As promised, I've finished adding ribbons, checking it over, and uploaded it to Google Drive.  It is a HUGE file.  When I tested it, the browser gave me a preview of the file and said it was too large to view on Drive, but I could download it.  I had no trouble with that, so please let me know if you do and I can work on dividing it up.

Ooh, I need this! I have a checklist but it is very sloppily pasted into a word processing document. I'd love something tidier! Can't wait to start checking stuff off!
