Daffodil is done!

I recently purchased Star Catcher from Roogna along with a fakie ponie. I'm going to use this fakie to attempt my first rehair and total body paint. I have her next to my WIP daffodil pony at the moment, so I can keep looking at her and deciding what colors I want to use. Any tips are appreciated.

Good luck with her!  There are lots of tutorials linked here in this forum, I noticed.  And there are more on other MLP websites and deviantART.  I've only done a couple customs myself, but reading a variety of tutorials was really helpful  ^.^

I love fakie customs!  You can really get creative with their different designs.  (Loving the daffodil pony :drool:) She's make a cute carousel horse with that bridle maybe.

I agree, she'd look lovely as a carousel horse.  You can use the actual ones as inspiration.  Is there a color combination you normally are drawn to?  Normally when I think of the carousel ponies I think of the themes of vibrant colors.  You could coordinate them into those type of color scheme or you could even make a pretty pastel version.

There is just so many color combinations you could use!  Pick either the body color or the hair color first and then pick the other to compliment it.  :)

They do have nice eyes, don't they? Too bad they're almost always blue. (I did get one in a lot recently that actually had brown eyes! I wasn't even planning on keeping her, but the brown eyes won me over.)
