Movie edition Firefly?

I bought a Firefly variant. The seller said she was released for the pilot movie: Rescue from Midnight Castle. She looks so much better than the usual. Does anyone know any more info on this one? I'm in the dark about this one. I love her so much though.

How much is she worth? I only ended up paying around 13 for her I think. I'm pretty sure she is worth more if she was released with a video.

I'm not sure of how much she goes for currently, but I love that version, too. I got her as a gift from my grandmother when I was about 5 and I remember watching Escape From Midnight Castle over and over. Firefly was definitely one of my favorites.

I am not sure how much she is worth either. But I also have one and got a great deal on her.  I think she looks wonderful in this pose

The last price check I saw for her was $10-12, so you got her for a fair price

I paid 15 for her so Its a good price I think. And I agree it is a better version of her, IMO. I love her brighter colors too

I've always wondered, Rescue From Midnight Castle was a movie so they made movie version Firefly with the VHS so why did they release a standard version?  I mean she's obviously different than the movie version and aside from her not coming with the VHS tape why make a different version?

Because the movie was created in conjunction with the existing toy line, so it included the characters already being released as toys. The movie was renamed and re-released as "Firefly's Adventures" several years later, so that's why they re-released an alternate firefly to go with it at that time.

Also, back in those days, VHS were expensive, so they had to give you something extra special for buying the VHS!

When I was a kid, Movie Version Firefly was the only version of Firefly that I had. So I thought that was the original/only version of Firefly there was. It wasn't until years later when I started recollecting during high school that I found out the one I had was not actually the way Firefly was originally released. I remember being really surprised when I found out. I still have the VHS tape somewhere.

Not really up to date on pricing info but she was released in 1991 with the Pink VHS tape and a purple flower Brush.  It's kind of funny that she was released so late in the line as all the other characters in the movie would no longer been able to be found anywhere in stores.
