Found gorgeous 80's Tv series in tin!

Exciting to see these--oh how I wish though they didn't use the G2 cover and logo--doesn't make sense!  I'm too much of a purist:)  Also I would have wanted them to only use art featuring ponies from the series but, I know, too picky!

I know I already asked this, but do the episodes have their cliffhangers with the "To be continued..." and the previous episode blurbs.  Or is this the Disney rebroadcast version with those cut?

I'd say they're copies of the original aussie series (the new DVD singles are) which is how it was originally aired in Australia, some have previous episode blurbs, but some don't. It's a little inconsistent that way.

They want like $33 to ship to the United States. Blehh!

Still cheaper than what some people are asking for the older seasons package.

Soo wait these should play on newer DVD players in the U.S.? My player is only two years old and would gladly try to hunt one down if it would work for me.

If your DVD is multi region it should - more and more DVD players are pretty much sold as standard that way nowadays. Alternatively google DVD hack and your player's name and you will find out how to make it multi region or switch it to the appropriate region to view.

Please note "hack" is not really a good description -  its not like hacking a computer or some kind of system its just the term used for hitting a combination of buttons on your remote to reset the region of your DVD player.

I just bought mine for $39 in store, only online is on $30 sale. The sticker price on mine is $48.98. I got the last one from the chermside JB's, so don't go there today looking for one.. Kedron might have them though. Looking at it, it's part of the new 'My Little Pony Classics' line with the g3 logo, like the minty movie, so it might hit the US after all!

Oh well hey I would be in then. I mean I want it mostly for the box art since I own the older U.S. Season release but couldn't justify buying if it was nonfunctional for me.
