Head-body mismatch on brushables
« on: February 18, 2014, 12:03:03 PM »
I was looking at my G4 Rainbow Dash just now and realized that she has some noticeable head-body mismatch, which surprised me since I've only hear about this being common on certain ponies or ones that are older.  Is this common for G4s?

Unfortunately, yes.  The heads seem to be made of different plastic and there are some ponies who NEVER have a matching head/body.

LOL Is it bad that I don't even notice anymore? So many are like that it doesn't even register to me anymore.

I'm not the most observant person, so I might have more with the same problem.  I'll check my collection later.

EDIT: Okay, it seems that ALL of my G4s have it to some extent.  I'ts barely noticeable on some though.  It's pretty funny I've missed this until now  :lookround:

is not only the color, is also the finish ,some heads are matte and the body is shiny, the mane hair is silky shiny ,tail hair is dull and dry :(

My Cherry Pie and Luna have pretty bad mismatch but Luna's is probably just from tail rust/mold (IDK exactly if she has it, but it sure looks like it)

My Feathermay has completely different head and body colors.  Her head is magenta, and her body is nearly purple.  It is fairly ridiculous just how far off her coloration is.  Nonetheless, she is a pretty pony, but it always bugs me when I look at her.

Yeah, the hair problems are well known.  I just noticed the difference in finish though, my Pinkie Pie has a very shiny body and a matte head.

I've never seen a Feathermay with even a similar head and body colour. The head is always paler than the body. :P

My G4 brushables all have head-body mismatch, its worst on my Princess Cadence and Princess Twilight Sparkle though >n<. All of my G4s also have these huge seams from the mold on their body which are really off putting.

I think I have one g4 where the mismatch isn't noticeable but in general it's pretty annoying.

It happened to every single one of my brushable G4s, even the white ones! Its one of the biggest reasons I don't collect them anymore.

It's much less noticeable if you give them a little scarf. :)
