I know it's sacrilegious asking this on here but it's been bugging me for ages. Back when we were kids my sister received a castle and a couple of ponies from my aunt from the US( I come from the UK by the way). I am pretty sure at least the castle was Fisher Price (it had the logo on) but I'm not sure about the ponies. I'm only asking this because my sister who was 11 at the time had a big strop for nearly a week!

Only ones I can recall are the Chad Valley ones, does that ring a bell?

Hmmm, I don't remember anything about it but mid-90s places me squarely in high school, so I wasn't paying too much attention to fisher price. Collected G2s at the end of high school, but not other pony toys.

Its not sacrilegious; this is the pony corral and we talk about all kinds of toy ponies here or over in Off Topic.

Fisher Price have had a few castle style products out during the last couple of decades; in fact they have had a castle [in a couple of different variations] available in their "Little People" line available off and on from the 70s until now.

^^ actually that's what I was thinking... they were the prominent ponies of the 90's until G2 came along.

The "Little People" farm from the late 80's-early 90's had a horse, too, but it was chestnut-brown and looked absolutely nothing like a MLP.  It was much "chunkier" and very simple and stylized.

But, my bro and I had both outgrown FP toys in general by the mid-90's, so I don't know how much the horses may have changed in just a few years.

EDIT:  Wait, no.  We didn't have the FP Little People.  We had the Little Tikes Wee Waffle Blocks.  Sorry, guys. :(

Yes Little People looks nothing like MLP at all :) If we are talking Fisher Price though...nothing from them looks like MLP its a much younger audience unfortunately so almost everything tends to be chunkier and for a younger audience.

Did the castle come with a type of pony? The reason I ask is that it may just have been A.N. Other castle that was used to play with MLP? I used to have a Sindy House that was my ponies home

I spoke with my sister and the ponies were MLP. She was just upset about the Fisher Price Castle! Oh, what it was like when we were kids!
