G4 Minty...

So, did that first version that showed up briefly not ever get an official release? I haven't followed her in awhile but she was a Pony I've been wanting for a long time so I finally snagged one of the 2nd version on eBay for a decent price, The one with the outlines around the cutie mark. I really liked the first version a lot more though.

There was an official release of Minty. She was in the Midnight at Canterlot set that was an exclusive to Costco. It included, Rarity, Spike, Celestia, Nightmare Moon, Fluttershy, Dewdrop Dazzle and Rainbow Dash.

Oh ok, The version I just bought is probably from that set. I remember though that there was an earlier version of her that was significantly different from the version that is more common now, did that version ever get a release?

The one that was officially released was the one with the black outline on her cutie mark. The one without the outline has not been released.

She is called Minty A . And the one you got is Minty B !   

The last Minty A  i saw on ebay was selling for 300 dllrs

Yes unfortunate 'Minty A' as she is termed was never officially released. It was just a factory test most likely, and for whatever reason they went with Minty B for the official release.

Maybe me should rename them "Minty B" is Minty and "Minty A" is Petunia...it would me it much easier to tell them apart

On topic...Petunia must have been a test run unfortunately; I doubt very much she is ever going to get a release now.
