Chances of Paradise Estate in Aus?

So, what are my chances of ever owning a Paradise Estate set? I'm not looking for 'complete with all accessories', I'd just love the basic buildings and pool, with as many details as I can get but I'm not fussy.

Postage is obviously murder, I'm assuming they were only sold in the US originally, so how many Aussies out there own one? Is there any chance at all that I would ever be able to buy a Paradise Estate from within Australia so I don't have to sell a limb to get it posted internationally?

I've seen the show stable for sale here a few times, but never PE. Maybe buying one building at a time would be cheaper?

If I ever get a pony room (to store playsets in) I'm definitely going to do a fair or con run to the US or UK to get some of the playsets in person, and pack them in my suitcase. The last show stable that popped up in Brissie was so expensive I could've imported one for less!

But it sounds like you have the right idea, buy a room at a time or save up for a convention. It would definitely be cheaper to buy ponies and playsets in person and pay extra for the overweight luggage than to get it posted. Maybe I'll aim to get a single room for now, I wouldn't be able to display the entire playset anyway (I can dream of a pony room of my own though)

Yeah that's my problem. I'd LOVE to have room for playsets (or any kind of decent display really!) but I just don't right now - so that's my plan for the long-term. I'll pack my undies in PE, and my socks in Dream Castle

Paradise Estate actually got quite a wide international release including into Europe and Australia/NZ. However the price point outside of the US [and even in the US] when it was originally on sale was really high so I am pretty sure thats why we dont see it turn up anywhere near as often. So the odds are not as good finding it in the local market as they would be if you were in the US but there is always the possibility of it turning up if you keep an eye out.
