G3/G3.5 and Anniversary Ponies in The Entertainer

I was in The Entertainer (a UK toy shop) today when I saw they were selling G3.5 crawling Pinkie Pie's! I asked the lady at the counter if they were getting anymore old stock in and she said that they most likely would be but she didn't know when. She also said she thought they would be getting Anniversary stuff in stock!

They sell online so its worth taking a look, I'll keep you posted if I see anything in person!

Well thats peculiar! I sometimes see the occasional G3.5 item in TK Maxx [mainly the mermaids] and the only independent toy shop we have in town has the G3.5 blind bags and some ponyville. Some stores and warehouses simply keep holding stock and putting items out for sale until they are finally purchased. And then other stores may pick up old stock from different retailers.

The Entertainer are the most up to date store in the UK at the moment for G4 so its odd they would have been holding old warehouse stock and not tried to clearance it online or stock it on shelves. I guess they randomly found some old stock or perhaps picked up stock from another retailer...or that Pinkie could have been sitting on a stock room shelf for years

The Entertainer here opened in June 2008 -just in time to get G3.5's- so I think you must be right, they had 2 of her on the shelf and they have her online too.

I really hope they get more in, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the 25 ann Pinkie Pie plush ^^

Poor Pinkie on a shelf or stock room for 6 years! Gosh! I am a sucker...even though I dont want her I would have taken home [and then she could have sat hidden here instead!]

Yes technically they do. Hey...maybe Hasbro stuck a 30th anniversary sticker on them and are trying to flog them to retailers

I love finding old ponies still in stock in normal retail shops. I remember about two years ago there was a newsagents called Tuthills and a TK Maxx in the same shopping centre near me with a ton of G3's. Tuthills only seemed to have Rainbow Dash though. TK Maxx had a lot of different ponies, Sparkleworks, Meadowbrook, Sunny Daze, and a lot more. In the city there's a Smyths toy shop that sometimes has G3.5 baby sets with the mother and car.

We had the G3 Pinkie Pie in stock. They're advertising them as 'NEW!' which I find a bit amusing
