Anime Crushes! =p Are you guilty of having a one...or many!?

Hey everyone!!! First off I just want to say im happily married but heehee I seem to have forgotten i had a huuuuuuuuge anime crush on Shinta, aka Kenshin Himura from Rurouni Kenshin/Samurai X!! My husband was bored and said he wanted to watch an anime and well out of fate he seemed to have stumbled onto Rurouni Kenshin and started watching it. After hearing the opening 'freckles' play I couldnt help but make a HUGE fangirl squeeel!! I told him all about my huuuuuuuuuuge crush on Kenshin, and how all these years LMAO I forgot I was attracted to a cartoon character!? xD he laughed at me to where I blushed and LOL now i cant stop watching Samurai X or Rurouni Kenshin!! There was an epi I forgot where his hair falls in front of his face in a fight and I could help but squeel soooo loud and say 'OMG SO SEXY!"! xD Cole, my husband, laughed and said, " so I guess he's your Husbando?" I laughed and had he had to explain it was pretty much an 'anime husband or crush'. He wasnt jealous or offended, and admitted he feels the same about Osuka from Neon Genisis- Evangelion xD whats weird is see, I do have a replica of Kenshin's reverse-blade sword and LOL now my husband knows all about it!! :O He recently read on the news in japan an old couple discovered a REAL rwverse-blade sword in their basement from an old japanese era!!! How AWESOME!? So now hes a fan of the show and doesnt mind my little squeels time from time while we enjoy watching the anime together So yes im very guilty of having an anime crush! My husband thinks anime crushes are normal so anime fans-who is yours!?

So here is Kenshin/Shinta and my replica of his sword I might get a few figurines now!!!

Yep, thats my Sakabato and I havnt had it sharpened in a while (not that I need to anyways) I really need to look into a very nice detailed figure of Shinta (for Samurai X) and a 'Rurouni Kenshin' styled Kenshin figure (since the anime and OVAs are animated different) to go next to the sword!!! :3 <3

I'm in the same boat as you, Lighting Twirl.  Happily married, and my husband knows of my very, VERY long-time crush on an anime character.  He actually calls this character my "boyfriend", lol.  I think I've mentioned in other posts my almost irrational and undying love for the DB/Z world, so it's no real surprise that my boyfriend lives there.  Guessing Trunks now?  Maybe Vegeta?  Wrong.  My ultimate anime crush of all time?  Totally Piccolo.  TOTALLY.

A friend of mine in high school had a HUGE crush on Vegeta. She had a wall scroll of him hanging on her wall in her room. One day I went over to her house and the wall scroll was gone so I asked her about it. She told me that looking at the wall scroll was making her depressed because Vegeta wasn't real.

Me? I don't remember ever having a crush on a fictional character of any kind.
