What kind of shelving do you use to display your ponies?

What kind / size (as in width of the shelves) do you use to display your ponies.  Sad to say, most of mine are in boxes right now.  I'd really like to bring them out and display them. 

There's an Ikea near me, does anyone use those?

Um. well mine I got all second hand. They are all curio cabinets and seem to be different in dept. and width. I can post a bigger picture if you want to see them.

I do hear that a lot of collectors due use Ikea ones.

I use a combination-- whatever fits in the space I have, but mostly the assembly stuff you get a Target. The shelves are decently priced and sturdy enough to hold ponies.

I have my collection in two identical cabinets where the shelves are about 25cm deep (10ish inches??). On those I can comfortably fit two rows of G1's (the back row I have raised up slightly on risers to view more easily) and I can also squeeze in a few babies in a third row at the front

I only have one small shelf available, so most of my ponies are in storage. The shelf I do have has four rows of G3s (it's deep but not very long or tall), and my few non-magnetic ponies are currently residing ontop of my stereo, but a bunch of them will probably be added to storage soon too.

My collection is a pretty sad sight right now. I'm trying to save up for a nice cabinet.

Billy bookcases and one deeper one from Ikea. I can't remember the name of the deep one. They're working great.

Mine I keep with my books. My bookshelf is made up of square "cubbies" in a 5 by 4 grid. Here's an old pic, I've cleaned up my pony shelf since this.

I also have a Billy bookcase from Ikea and went so far as to get the glass doors to go with it. The bookcase is in the hallway so we got the doors to prevent the kitties from knocking all the ponies off.

Hubby has the same bookcase for all his wine/scotch glasses, but he wanted glass shelves, so I got his extra shelves for the pony display. We're adding 2 more shelves this weekend - so I think total we'll have 9 shelves. That will be enough to hold my current collection. If I need more space in the future, I'll remove shelves and set them further apart and put risers in the back so each shelf will hold twice as many ponies, but right now I only have about 100 ponies, so 9 shelves of single row ponies works

I use Curio cabinets too. Not only are the ponies on shelves they are also protected from dust. I pick mine up at estate auctions.

Mine are billy bookcases as well (in black), with glass doors. So nice to keep most of the dust off of them! I also have risers so I can have 3 rows of ponies on each shelf and still be able to see them all. ^-^
