The jar contained 231 pony combs!

No one got it quite right, a lot of you came very very impressively close but emberfly was only one off with her guess of 230.

Congratulations emberfly. I ll be in touch with you in the next couple of days to get your address! Thank you so much guys for taking part and keep an eye out for the next challenge soon :)

How many combs do you think are packed into this jar?

The rules are simple:
1) Post your guess in this thread and it will be recorded in the spoiler tag below
2) There are 4 types of comb in the jar - fish combs, duck combs, flower picks and rose combs - all G1 MLP of course. In the event that multiple people guess the same number we will go to tie break and you will be asked how many of each type of comb are in the jar
3) You can have 2 guesses in total - guess at the same time, in the same post or come back after you have considered what others have guessed
4) The contest will run for 12 days with the winner announced on 10th February
5) And finally as a little clue - the jar is 160mm high and 160mm at its widest point...but its not completely round as you can see :P
6) The prize will be a little pony box of goodness :P
