Question about using Mr. Clean Erasers on ponies
« on: January 25, 2014, 12:15:36 PM »
I know I've read a lot of places (here included) that these things work well for cleaning up ponies. I've used the original ones recently on a few of my fixer-uppers and they do seem to help, but I am wondering is the original the only ones its a good idea to use? Or are the other versions of the erasers safe for ponies as well? I don't want to accidentally make things much worse by using the wrong kind of eraser.

I've used a couple different kinds, includung Target's Up & Up brand, and had results that were pretty much the same. Just keep in mind that those erasere are mildly abrasive so be as gentle as you can with them. :)

No matter which brand you buy, magic erasers are fundamentally the same thing - melamine foam - with some basic ingredient and content changes to make each product a little more unique. For that reason you are pretty much buying the same product in different packages; any brand will work the same way just with different degrees of effectiveness.

Thank you so much! Was worried because a package was picked up that wasn't original formula.
