Year of the Horse mlp G1 pony discusssion; Mimic

I just can't find it in myself to like her, I love her pose but not her colours and if I ever did come to own her I wouldn't appreciate her as much as many other collectors. Her backstory however I find very fascinating and would love to see that episode, but I have no desire to own her at all.

When i first saw her, i didint really like her. 

She has grown on me all these years and now i want her. Shes so pricey tough, but someday ill have her.

I think Mimic is beautiful. Her colours are unusual and she's not your run of the mill girly looking pony. My own Mimic is very special to me as my (now) husband bought her for me on our first Christmas together

I adore Mimic for all the reasons mentioned above She was never released in the UK though so that makes the chance of us over here finding her in a random lot or bootsale virtually nil

I only have one Mimic in my TE army, would love more but because of her price I am thinking of getting an alternate pose custom done. I will have another Mimic (one of my goals for this year) but I'm never going to have her in the same number as my Gingerbreads or Sweeties!

One funny thing about her lone cartoon appearence; she's the focus of the whole plot, yet she's sick for most of the episode, go figure

To me, Mimic is the pony that people talk about a lot, but I never really understood the appeal of (sorry!)

TE ponies are my favorites and I absolutely love Mimic! I did get into the "must get Mimic" phase. I ended up buying her on eBay in a lot with Locket, Bright Eyes, Tic Tac Toe, and Quackers.

She is definitely one of my favorites out of my whole collection. I love her colors, I love her pose, I love her eyes. I just think she gorgeous and I love to look at her. 

If I get a chance I'll post a pic of mine later.

I love everything about Mimic! I know her pose is not popular, but I think it's really, really cute and it's my favorite thing about her, along with her unique color. I bought her for my own birthday a few years back. X3 She's probably my most valuable pony.

I think Mimic is pretty. Green ponies are a fave for collectors I think For the HTF value, I guess it is more because you have two things that fade on her...her body color and her fading pink hair. So it gets hard to find one who isn't faded...Me I was in awe when I found her in a craigslist lot in excellent condition no less!

Actually I paid $80 for the lot with 24 ponies in it.

I got her recently (she was my last TE and completed the set, though there are still a few I'm looking for it better condition)

I think she looks a lot better in person for some reason. Maybe it's her pose. I have her in the middle/front of my twinkle eye shelf and she just looks like the leader. I'm also a sucker for green ponies.

Most Ponies look better in person, I think. That sounds like a fun Pony shelf! She does look like a leader, like she's saying, "Come with me!"
