starting a wiki.... advice?

Hi, i'm gonna start a wiki for one of my fav stories.
yah know since they're free and anyone can start one.
the story isn't published, so i'm a bit worried that someone might take parts of it.
but the idea of having things in one place organized is so appealing!
so what do you think? self-control and wait.
or dive in and hope for the best?

I want to do the same for one of my fave stories too, but I'm waiting it out for now, just until it's released. I've had my ideas stolen one too many times before (offline and online) so I'm a little paranoid, honestly

The internet can be a dangerous place - people "borrow" the weirdest things and so often now a days people simply don't bother with credit. I agree with Kat, if it was me, I would be tempted to wait until the story was published.
