This adorable little creature was created by a friend of mine based in the U.K. All the proceeds go to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust in Kenya, to support the elephant orphanage and anti-poaching activities in Tsavo National Park. If you'd be interested in commissioning one or several in a plethora of color choices (they make great gifts for children and friends of all ages!) please let me know and I'll provide you with the proper email address to get in touch with her. (She has an MLPArena account but she's no longer active here).

As my friend is in the U.K., shipping will vary from country to country. I believe they are priced at £4 or 5. Over £150 has already been raised for the park thanks to these little critters, but so much more help is needed! Thanks for looking!

Aww, those are adorable! I'd love to help, but right this minute I'm having too much trouble paying for my own doctor bills, along with my hypochondriac dog's doctor bills (yeah, that's a long story). Maybe I can buy one later?

Hi everyone...been away a while. It's me who makes these elephants to support the trust.

If anyone would like one, they are £4 each, stand about three inches to the top of the head (so about the size of a G1) are handmade by me and my trusty crochet hook, and are available in a range of colours. I'll post 'em anywhere at buyers risk for the minimum postage I can get away with. Postage to the USA for one or  two in a box is £5.

Each one is unique and would be made to order.

This one is a one-off black-and-silver one. He has light brown eyes and a snazzy silver tasselled collar. Because the silver yarn is a bit costly and he looks a bit special (better than my pic) he's priced at £5.50.

I buy the yarn, new, from local charity shops, so more than one cause is helped each time.
