Yep, you just rip the troll hair off, use a pin an make a stack of holes, then rehair him!

Ooooh I love him.  I saw a shining armour at a thrift store and thought about picking him up to re-hair but I wasn't sure if you could.

His hair is glued in, so as Saja says you can pull it out and punch holes in the head to rehair.  Be aware that there is an indent in the head where the hair is glued in (like the G3.5 Newborn Cuties; the hair will come up out out of the depressed region of his head), but if that doesn't bother you and you have a strong enough needle or tool to punch the holes he can definitely be rehaired.

Thanks. Yes it was the indentation that I was worried about. I wasnt sure if there was anything solid under it or if it was just a huge hole.

Yeah I have twice now. Its actually not as difficult as it appears. The mane is glued on and with a little acetone comes right off. The tail is kinda weird its like its glued and then tied on the inside but it will come out so don't give up! After that just rehair like normal really (well you obviously have to take like a thumb tack and poke a hole before hand). The only other advice I can give is that to fill up the slot where is mane is you do have to use more hair than normal so just a heads up.
